Statements from 10 persons regarding the 3 scorched bodies
Statements have been obtained from about 10 persons with regard to the recovery of three scorched dead bodies from a house in Kaldemulla, Mt. Lavinia.
Police Media spokesman SSP Prishaantha Jayakody said that the post-mortem of the dead were scheduled to be held today.
The three bodies were found on information received at the Police Emergency Call Unit last morning.
A mother and her two children were killed when a fire had erupted at the house.
The police media spokesmen said that while the mother was aged 31 years, the children were aged three years and one month.
